Closure Report from Rishon LeTzion

More pictures came in from Israel Relief Aid’s recent school supply distribution.  This time from Rishon LeZion.

Rishon LeZion is located south of Tel Aviv near the Mediterranean coast of Israel.  The aid center in Rishon brought school supplies from our recent aid container to some special children.  Their report follows.

“Dear Jo, Here is a special needs class which meets in an empty school while other students are in closure. These students will go every day.  The principal told us they are excited to receive free notebooks with cute pictures on the cover. Usually they have only bland colors because they are a religious school. They all say Thank you!”

Friends, it is heartwarming to give to these children whose families are struggling.  The schools in Israel do not give out free books or school supplies.  This is the responsibility of each Israeli family, and it can be a challenge.
