With your help, Israel Relief Aid brought joy to the staff at the Ben Shemen Day Center for disabled young people.
We have done an annual project there, giving janitorial supplies because they are on a super tight budget which allows for no extras.
This year we bought: floor cleaner, window cleaner, toilet cleaner w/bleach and bowl brush sets, liquid hand soap, dish scrubbers, cleaning cloths, anti-bacterial cleaning cloths, brooms, mops, dustpans, dishwasher tablets, microfiber cleaning cloths, first aid kits, dish soap, wet wipes, hygienic cleaning wipes, silk flowers/plants, large tray/vase, spray bleach cleaner, alcohol gel, extension cord/electrical strip [manager had needed for a long time], a cart to take food/drink on walks, etc., kitchen trash bags, napkins, disposable tablecloths, apple juice concentrate, chocolate bars for the staff only, plastic food containers, Band-Aids, sun cream block, and more.
The delivery brought tears to the eyes of the manager, all the staff were filled with joy, and the young people were excited. This is the first time we see some of the disabled young people in the pictures, with three of the staff. The manager says, “We are speechless!” What a huge donation of all the things we’ve needed! All the parents wrote “To the donors, You are our champions! Thank you!”
