Added Blessings for 2019

Wow what a year this was!  You have enabled so much humanitarian aid to be dispersed throughout the Holy Land of Israel, twelve great monthly events, the special large events for Holocaust Survivors and new immigrants, and of course, aid container distributions in huge amounts.  Together we have touched tens of thousands of Israelis! 

IMPORTANT:  As 2019 winds up, a reminder that there are tax benefits to your contributions that are still made this year, and they can be significant.  Donations are tax deductible in the year they are made — by the end of December 31 for 2019, for instance.

Also — if you put a contribution on a credit card by the end of the year and aren’t billed until 2020, it’s still deductible in 2019. The same goes for a check you write this year (as long as envelope is postmarked for 2019)that is not cashed until next year.  That’s an added benefit for you!

2019 has been a year that we can look back on with joy for the help we have provided together to the nation of Israel and so many of its needy children and families, institutions and sectors all living under the poverty line.  We have given hope to Israelis that sorely needed it and served the nation well!

2020:  Looking towards next year, each month Israel Relief Aid has a stirring event planned that will touch not only our hearts, but so much more for each recipient.

The Easy Life:  Maybe you want to change to “carefree” giving in 2020?  For those that want to change to an automatic monthly gift, this can help simplify the year for you and be another thing in your life that makes monthly tasks easier.  And of course the amount can always be changed or added to at any time, as the blessing comes.
