Emergency Aid Containers Update

–13 aid containers unloaded October-March, distributed to evacuees and immigrants

–3 aid containers from Poland and UK—two on the water to Israel and one loading

–2 aid containers from the US and Hong Kong are in the loading process

These last two containers held winter “blanket hoodie shirts” from the UK (these were the favorites at the distribution centers and outreaches) as well as a container from Poland:  new sport clothing and sport shoes.

These items are a huge blessing at this time, as they give displaced families and struggling families the warmth of being cared for in their plight.

Your financial help at this time will help to bring huge loads into Israel to meet the need.

Displaced and Evacuated Families

Israel Relief Aid continued with weekly food provision to the Bat Yam families who were evacuated from the Gaza border.

There are also evacuated families in Migdal by the Sea of Galilee that Israel Relief Aid is now supplying aid to. For evacuees, when given hotel rooms, food was not always included, and for them we pick up the slack.

The situation in the north is that Hezbollah bombs indiscriminately fall on civilian homes, cars, public places.

So it’s not safe for them to go back home.

Most of them are paying for the home in the north – rent or mortgage – plus living expenses in their temporary apartment.  They greatly appreciate this provision of food!

March Project – Purim Party for Orphans in Ben Shemen

A child without a costume for Purim here in Israel is a sad thing.  11 orphans in Ben Shemen had no costumes.

With your help, Israel Relief Aid provided costumes and with the costumes provided brightened faces!  We also gave provision for party food that was lacking. Thanks to you our friends!

April Project:  Passover Food for Evacuees and Poverty Families

90,000 Families from the northern border region of Israel are still displaced in Migdal in the Galilee.

There are also struggling families in Bat Yam that are living below the poverty line – Holocaust Survivors and others.

Let’s bless them with Passover foods like matzot, rice, jam, chicken soup mix, Passover cookies, tomato sauce, etc.

Together, let’s do this!
