Dear Lovers of Israel,
Two aid containers are currently on their way to Israel: a container of school backpacks from China and a container of new and sorted clothing from Holland. Both of these have arrival dates this month.
Partners in Sderot are excitedly awaiting food bags for poverty families – this month’s project – for the unemployed, Holocaust Survivors, single-parent families, all those living under the poverty line. Remember, Sderot is the Israeli town at the border with the Gaza Strip where they are “holding down the fort” for the Land of Israel. This nonprofit also has an employee living in the city, experiencing life in this desert city.
