Over 164,000 Ethiopian Jews live in Israel. For the first several years as immigrants in Israel, around 80% are unemployed.
Thus, so many of these families are living in poverty.
Recently, Israel Relief Aid imported a donated aid container filled with new sport shoes for children and adults. The first place we wanted to go was right to the afflicted Ethiopian areas in the Center District of Israel.
These kids are so very grateful!
