Above the Sea of Galilee

Golan Heights

Situated north of the Sea of Galilee, south of Mount Hermon and east of the Upper Galilee hills is the town of Katzrin in the Golan Heights.

With a population in 2021 of 7,606, Katzrin is the largest Israeli town in the Golan Heights.

30% of the town is populated with Russian/Ukrainian Jewish immigrants.  There are also some Druze families in Katzrin.

In the last 20 years, there have been efforts to distribute humanitarian aid in Katzrin, but not a real, dedicated space. However, that has now changed!

The Katzrin Aid Center has joined the Israel Relief Aid network of aid centers. Manager Netalia has a heart to give to the struggling in the town and surrounds. She has her work cut out for her!

Containers brought into Israel by Israel Relief Aid provide so much clothing and other items that are critical to keeping an aid center open in Israel. Without aid, there can be no aid center.

Therefore, your participation in bringing in containers to Israel is critical to 30-40 aid centers in Israel. These aid centers are centers for starting relationships, bringing smiles of hope to families, places of joy.  Together, we can help curb the plight of poverty in Israel. Thank you for making this happen!
