November Project – Two Factors

Ukraine flag near balcony

On one hand, we all know that this brutal invasion of Ukraine has caused families to run for their lives, and those that could make it to Israel have come.

Jerusalem

On the other hand, many have settled in Jerusalem, known to be difficult to live in.  Terror incidents make up daily life.  Apartments mostly are older and cramped, many without elevators or washing machines.  The cost of living is very high.  Winters can be bitterly cold and dry.  Certain areas of the city are unsafe, depending on what clothing you’re wearing (orthodox areas).

These two factors together make life doubly hard for the Ukrainian immigrants.  Let’s give help to Ukrainian immigrant/refugees with a bag of nutritious food that they can go home and cook for their family.  It’s a most wonderful way to give them a sense that someone understands and is there for them
