What a Joy to See the Homeless Fed

Homeless waiting in line to eat at the Tel Aviv Cafe

Israel Relief Aid’s December project was stocking the kitchen of the Tel Aviv (free) “Café” that serves 1-2 meals per day for some 70 homeless people living on the street.

An Israeli happened to ask me who these people were that live on the street, are they all addicts, etc.?  The answer is a resounding “No!”  I have heard so many stories of regular people that lost their job, sometimes due to an accident or sudden disability, couldn’t find another one, lost their house, couldn’t find a solution, decided to live in their car . . .

Thank you to everyone who helped financially with the project.  It still warms my heart to think about how we helped them!
