Jerusalem is filled with beautiful malls, every kind of store and quaint shop. There’s no dearth of places to buy something. So when in need of anything, it’s always easy to find . . . for the average person living here.
Alternatively, someone who comes into a humanitarian aid center, to get what they need, is unable to afford those types of establishments. They are in a financial crisis and seriously in need of clothing, household items, etc.
They are probably not expecting to find new items, but rather second hand items.
So when they find new items that they really need, it’s such an incredible blessing to them!
These particular shoes came in an Israel Relief Aid shipping container from Europe, specifically donated for the purpose of giving to Israelis.
