In the south of Israel, there are two shelters for Israelis who have totally given up hope and were picked up off the streets in Tel Aviv and other cities.
One is for women who have had to flee their homes for safety. The other is for homeless men. The shelters have most of their expenses covered, but continually need finances for food.
Israel Relief Aid, with the help of Lovers of Israel, sent the shelter manager supermarket coupons for the entire month of September to give them a month’s worth of meals.
