Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Memorial Day) was April 8, and a special project is being carried out the entire month of April to help Survivors, in honor of this special day.
Food bags will be delivered throughout the whole month of April, to take time so each Holocaust Survivor gets both the food bag and also a warm, personal visit.
Help with food is always the number one need . . . and second is personal contact to turn back the loneliness.
A team has been assembled to pack food packs, (a food list was ordered at warehouse prices), and these food packs will be personally delivered and be a blessing for the Holocaust Survivors, who will receive a much-needed personal visit.
It’s amazing to think that Holocaust Survivors can be hungry. Unbelievable! So many are living in poverty.
